Frozen 2 (2019) – Fifth Spirit Look
This dress was inspired by the gorgeous design for Elsa’s final look on Disney’s Frozen 2. This is the dress she wears, once she discovers she is the fifth spirit she has been looking for so long.
It consists of an off shoulder dress lined at the top, with fitted long sleeves, a wrap front skirt, attached capes and invisible zipper closing at the back, all hand crafted from patterns to sewing to embellishments by me.
The dress features white sharp spikes across the top of the bodice and the skirt that were added to a custom dyed sheer chiffon fabric that has an ombré effect from white to purple. It is adorned with metallic and flocked HTV vinyls of 7 different colours (turquoise, blue, lilac, violet, dark purple, white iridescent & white flocked) and shapes to recreate every single detail seen on the animated film and bedazzled with tiny glass rhinestones of 5 different colours that were all individually placed by me. It also features a sheer organza detail on the chest adored with tiny pearls.
Attached to the back of each sleeve, there’re two separate capes also custom dyed to the same ombré effect as the dress. it features tiny crystal-shaped HTV vinyls in iridescent white and 4 other colours adorned with more that 800 AB and Crystal rhinestones that were individually placed.
The outfit also features a pair of satin stretch pants that had been adorned and bejewelled with blue rhinestones at the cuffs.
This gown was made for a 17″ doll (Disney Store) as a commission. There are two variants of this dress: one fully covered with rhinestones and the other without the rhinestones on the white part of the dress.
