Concept design project: The play has been set in the 1950’s to enhance certain facts as religion and family during an earlier period than the original play. The idea of different colour palettes to identify certain characters was used to separate the rural vs the Urban; the family vs the outsiders; the light vs the dark.
For the more abstract characters such as the memories, the Horseman and the horses, driftwood and wooden sculptures were taking into inspiration, to separate the present and the past, the reality and the fantasy.
This project was illustrated using Procreate App on Ipad Pro Tablet and retouched with Adobe Photoshop.
