SYNOPSIS:
“Who’s to say what adulthood means anymore, when a hostile rental market, rising underemployment, and the decline of the nuclear family make all the old goalposts unattainable? Matt and his family-of-friends are trying to keep afloat in East Vancouver, living paycheque to paycheque with ever-lowering expectations for the future. But when an unexpected pregnancy forces them all to confront that rapidly approaching future, they must reconsider the limits of what a family can be, and weigh the lives they want to lead against the desires that are out of their control.”
