Beauty and the Beast (2017) – Belle’s Ball Gown
Variation of Belle’s ball gown inspired by the 2017 Disney Live Action film Beauty and the Beast.
These dresses were custom made for a variety of doll bodies including Barbie, Disney Store and Tonner dolls in 12″ and 17″ tall. Each gown is composed of a separate multilayered poly chiffon petticoat, a top skirt with three layers of Silk chiffon and a bodice also made of Silk Chiffon and fully lined with silk organza. It’s decorated with gold heat transfer vinyl details that I created using references from pictures available online and applied them all around the hem and trims, and finally the dress is embellished with a variety of rhinestones in colours and sizes. This gown took about 40-50 hours to be made.
Each gown is unique by request of the customers I made them for. Some are interpretations with some variations in details and volume and others are meant to be more accurate to the gown seen in film.
