Hocus Pocus (1993) – Sarah Sanderson
This dress was inspired by the costume worn by Sarah Jessica Parker as one of the Sanderson Sisters, Sarah, from the bewitching film Hocus Pocus.
It consists of a corset like bodice made of Silk taffeta and hand embroidered to replicate the original design seen in the film with micro beads and eyelet closing at the back. It also features attached mesh sleeves custom dyed.
The skirt is made of 3 layers of different colours of chiffon and a knitted front. A small pouch was hand embroidered as seen on the movie and decorated with tiny beads hanging.
A cotton bloomers were made underneath with tiny lace details as well as fishnet thigh highs Stockings and a hooded Cape with mesh details on the shoulders.
Every embroidery and sewing piece was made by me.
The outfit was created for a 17″ Tonner doll as a commission.
