Wicked (2024) – Movie
This outfit was inspired by the 2024 film Wicked during the number “Popular” featuring Ariana Grande as Glinda (Galinda).
It consists of a teddy, Peignoire, and floral hairpieces, all hand crafted from patterns to sewing and building by me.
The teddy is made of pink poly charmeuse with a custom embroidered lace details on the shoulders and bottom hemline, all digitized by me to resemble the original costume. It features closing at the back.
The peignoire is made of over 27 meters (29 Yards aprox.) of hand pleated organza ribbon that was custom dyed to perfectly match the colour of the soft mesh tulle. The spirals were hand made and later attached to the peignoire as it was assembled.
The hairpieces are made of the same pleated ribbon used on the peignoire, decorated with tiny glass beads..
The doll has been partially repainted and her hair was restyled to look like Glinda during the scene.
This dress was made for a 11.5″ doll (Glinda Doll).
